Hey, if it's that good it's time to come home!

And if it's not that good, well, then, what does that say about the posts?

I'm sure there are places in Iraq that are peaceful, where there is power a good part of the day, where schools operate, and maybe even some form of medical care is available.

No doubt in my mind.

And Baghdad, the capital, the biggest city, the seat of government, the most important place in the country, the site of the largest embassy in the entire world, ain't one of them.

Think of it. A popular "democracy" hiding in a Green Zone from the rest of the country. Only in power because of a large occupying foreign military presence. Afraid to drive the streets, takes helicopters to and from the airport, FIVE MILES AWAY.

And then tell me again how good it is over there. Reality.

An insurgency cannot exist without the support of the people. That's the only "poll" that counts. And that insurgency is getting stronger, and stronger and stronger. And stronger.

Reality again.

Just how good is it? (An Ed McMahon straight line for you.)
