Good news
While it seemed beyond the realm of possibility, I did fear the slight chance that John Kerry's body wouldn't lie peacefully moldering in a political grave, and might be reanimated to shamble through the 2008 election. He just phoned it in in 2004, but the 2008 election is going to see some real battles and real fights for the White House. Kerry would've allowed his opponent to coast along, and the country wouldn't get the genuine debate and choice we need. Both parties need to field their strongest candidates, not bozos.
