Billions of people + extremely weird weather phenomena=many UFO's

I remember one time I was approaching Austin,Tx on an airplane and I saw these bright oval lights in the sky. They were moving extremely rapidly and then changed directions. I've heard reports of UFO sightings like this for many years. I think there 3 or 4 of them in formation. I was thinking to myself, "wow that is really weird--guess I'm seeing UFO's." Then as we flew onward, I noticed weird cloud formations that had enabled the sun to bounce light off of one of the lakes and back up through holes in the clouds to form these "moving lights." I had been shielded by another cloud from seeing this, but now it had moved away and I could see the whole process. I had the remarkable experience of directly seeing the cause of the UFO's almost immediately after seeing the UFO's. It was pure chance that I was able to observe the cause, and I have to say I would've been quite puzzled had it not been serendipitously revealed to me.

There is a lot of potentially very weird optical effects possible in our atmosphere in conjunction with ground, sky, and artificial man made objects. With billions of people looking up at the sky everyday, it is inevitable for their to be many "UFO" sightings. Occams razor says the very last explanation should be "aliens." My god, our technology for observing our environment has improved thousands of fold in recent years, and yet we have no definitive contact with aliens. Between everyone having a cellphone/video camera, and all the satelite sensing, etc, I think we could trust our instruments better than our eyes. Sort of like DNA over "eye witnesses." Just maybe "they" aren't "visiting us."
