You might be interested to know the Ian James article we are discussing here appeared in translation on the front page of today's El Nuevo Herald, the Miami Spanish language newspaper: by no means a left-wing rag. It was printed without commentary or rebuttal, except for a hilarious political cartoon, a grotesque charicature of Chavez wearing a laurel wreath and a toga, seated on an oil drum throne, holding a pen as a scepter and clutching a scroll labeled "Decretos" (decrees) in his other hand.
