"in some sort of doltish tactic...."
Oh come now. You know its relevant. If your going to scream death and bloody murder over a misplaced polar bear pic, but not bat an eye at things like salman pak (recall, we debated that one!), then its reasonable to point that out. And it is even more reasonable to point it out because you might be making the same mistake you made before.
All I'm saying is that every statement or claim can be picked apart- just ask the deconstructionists. However, at the end of the day, eventually the objections start sounding as tired and as forced and as contrived as, well, arguing over polar bear pictures or phallic symbols.
There is a 'there there' to anthropogenic global warming, the only question that remains is how much and how fast. You fought the good fight for your ideology/party/whatever, so now you can either act like a rational person and accept the facts on the matter, or you can once again play the sucker.
As bad as Iraq was and is, global warming could be a whole hell of a lot worse.
