I don't think its a good idea to upgrade to 64 bit before we start getting more programs written as 64 bit. I remember the bad old days trying to get 16 bit to work right in a 32 bit environment. A lot of times the programs just wouldn't run.

Also if you haven't seen this yet, there's a program for XP from Microsoft that scans your PC to discover anything that won't run in Vista.
