TOS in HD now
On Sunday night / Monday morning 12:00 am KNBC channel 4 in Los Angeles is now showing the original Star Trek series in HD. Because it’s in HD the old special effects looked lousy, and they had to re-do all of it. I don’t yet have an HD TV but it looks great in standard definition. My brother has an HD TV and says it looks great. It hasn’t affected the show at all. In fact it makes it even better. There may be purist out there who think this is heresy but I think it’s great. I have it tivoed and will be watching all of them now.
