I'll never forget watching my first episode of "Star Trek". The sliding glass doors which opened as they approached them seemed a bit over the top. I remember thinking, "Like that'll ever happen!" and mentioning it to my wife.
Now, I'll walk into one of the damned things if it doesn't open.
Great series, at least at first.
