If you are just misreading and disconnecting because you don't like the direction, then the joke's on me, I guess.
1) Statistics say: there's a big increase in terrorism counting Iraq terrorism. Inception coincides roughly with the occupation of Iraq. I hope that we don't have to quibble about this point because the record is clear. Go read the stats again instead, if you feel the urge to be coy.
2) I say: It is not a coincidence. The Iraq occupation makes the terrorists.
3) You say: Prove it.
4) I say, to reiterate: counting Iraq there's a 600% + increase in terrorism in the world that coincides with occupation (source of the "many hundred percent" increase in my post that you misquoted - [hundred was supposed to be plural, dang]).
5) You imply (please correct me if I'm wrong here): sure there's an increase, but it can't be connected to the occupation.
6) I say: then according to your theory, without the occupation, there would have been a 600% increase in world terrorism anyway? That started at the time it started?
7) THE POINT: #6 is an extraordinary claim. Burden of proof is on you. It is much more reasonable to suppose that the occupation had something to do with the increase.
Current Events » in reply to *sigh* There is no "hundred percent increase in terrorism."
There's an important point here, so I will try again but more simply.
