And the degree to which people are 'evil' is also the degree to which they are prone to miss

By that metric The bad guy with a MiniGun stands no chance against a good guy with a single-shot muzzle load.

Not to mention that Good Guys seem to have remarkable resilience to Blast pressure waves that hurl people dozens of feet and shred nearby masonry walls.

I also love the 'machine pistol', fired at arms length on full auto... Whose bullets strike with such force that they throw the target back 10 feet, yet impart so little recoil to the user that he/she could walk a tight rope.

Another thing I love are the 100 pound girls who can beat the holy hell out of 250 pound muscle-bound men in a standing slug fest. I spend probably about 10 years doing all sorts of martial arts (from Aikido to Tae Kwon Do)- and I met some small women I'd hate to go up against in a dark alley. But I guarantee you they didn't go toe-to-toe with with big folks no matter what the difference in skill was- instead they did what all people have to do when outclassed in size: hit and run and fight very carefully and deliberately.

On that same note- the amount of damage (like side kicks or captive knee strikes to the jaw, etc) that people take in the movies and still move/fight or conversely- how little effort is required by the good guy to knock out the (minion-class) bad guys. Its absurd.

Though my favorite is people who take blows to the head sufficient to knock them out cold, and how they are up and around with maybe a tiny bruise 5 minutes later (or if they are attractive female leads, no bruise or blemish). In my experience, people who recieve head blows so hard that they are actually entirely out cold require hospitalization and are in serious danger!
