And the Big Dog of that pack was keeping the rest of 'em in line, using brutal means on occasion, and keeping 'em in line. He wanted nothing more than to be left alone.
So they invaded, killed the Big Dog, and Bush tried to be the Big Dog himself. Bush uses the same brutal means, same prisons, the Bush Generals live in the same Palaces. But Bush ain't such a big dog. He's meaner, the packs suffer more, and they stay out of line.
In the process Bush turned all the rest of the dogs loose, and the dogs from the neighboring countries were invited over. Now those packs are attacking Bush's pack and each other, and winning. Kicking the living shit out of Bush's packs.
Now there's a million dogs, 15 "countries", and 500 Big Dogs to deal with. All with their own agenda. And they have a lot of room to run free. To work, to train, to rest, all in their haven. Iraq.
Instead of one Big Dog. Who could be managed.
And as far as Iraq goes, Bush, for all his talk of democracy, freedom, WMDs, women's rights, reconstruction, medical care, jobs, for all that talk, people see Abu Ghraib, rape, murder, pillage, and Bush has made the other Big Dog look very, very good. They wish they had electricty and clean water again. Sewers. They did under the other Big Dog.
And Bush wonders what ideas anyone has for putting it back together. For dealing with a million dogs, 15 entities, and 500 Big Dogs.
Instead of one.
What a maroon.
