Political Expediency sucks
The Dems dont want to be accused of being "the ones who lost the war".
Mind you, the Repubs dont want to be that either, so they're doing their best to prolong the exercise in futility, while blaming the left every step of the way.
Neither side is particularly coming up smelling of roses here.
But here is another reality - after 4 years where they were the sole ones in charge, what were we left left with? A potentially unwinnable mess.
Cant wait till history gets rewritten and it was all Clinton's fault anyway.
