One of the problems with folks who carry guns is that if I know a person has one and we have a disagreement, I HAVE to kill or maim them. We can't just agree to disagree and walk away. I can't turn my back on someone while they have a gun. I know they're cowards by the mere fact of the gun. I don't care if they're men or women.
Here's one usually appropriate strategy.
Let's say someone has a gun, we have a disagreement. They refer to the gun, or reach. Still smiling, I will immediately take out their knee, and break their arm on their way down or when they hit. By that time they won't be beligerent. If they are, go for the back or break the other arm. NOW one can walk away.
That's without any warning or further comment. Helps to have strong, agile legs and the will to prevail. And it's so fast if there are two people one has time to go after the other.
If they didn't have a gun, we could have traded "Asshole!" comments and left.
And, those may have been past days. I don't associate with people who carry guns, I don't drink, I don't hang out with the nuts.
Gawd, I'm getting old.

Makes perfect sense. Unintended consequences of having a gun.
