I have great respect for the scientists who are TRYING to save this planet amid greed, pork projects and HUNDREDS of debilitating conditions that need to be fixed, but we need a semblance of care-taking for the beautiful planet we live on FIRST. We can't even get THAT together.

Everywhere we look, craven greed is taking over and the companies and people that run them are winning their political games and are making it harder for anything sensible or moral, to succeed.

So I suppose it's good to pontificate this "saving grace", but frankly I see no great recovery in sight and would hope that some of our genetics would float on to some other hospitable planet. Either that, or whoever's left to start over might respect Mother Nature a little more.
We really ARE arrogant; thinking we can fix or survive anything as we merrily plan our own demise.
