No one can "win" this war anymore. Democrats do not want defeat, but Bush refuses to accept reality. AND the bill gives Bush the money he needs and almost a year for his plan to succeed. It is not unreasonable to give the Iraqis a timetable at this point. We are seriously weakening our military by keeping our troops there indefinitely, not to mention bankrupting our country. THIS WAR WAS THE BIGGEST FOREIGN POLICY BLUNDER IN RECENT HISTORY. Smart people know when it is time to cut your losses.
