I'm a male chauvinist hogzilla. I try not to be but to no avail.
How many women signed the declaration of independence and how many women fired a shot in the revolutionary war?
How many women took part designing or building bridges like the Brooklyn Bridge and Golden gate?
Hoover dam, Grand Coulee?
Of course there were a handful of women working in the Apollo program-among 10's of thousands of men. It's become PC and customary to automatically include the fairer sex in any and all mention of historical accomplishment. I suppose if building an image of women in this manner was the only way to construct the current level playing field, then it's not such a bad thing.
It' would just be nice to move forward from this point in history on.
Rob (expecting deafening silence from those with similar views, maybe worse...)
