If you were discussing ancient Greek philosphers and French mathematicians at age 6, I would have hated to be your prom date.

When someone mispronounces big words or the names of ancient historical figures, they should be praised, not scolded. It is a sign that someone does a lot more reading than talking, and has taken steps to educate themselves.
