Current Events » in reply to I was discussing Spain. Good try at a derailing, though.

OK. Spain attacks Muslims. Withdraws. Muslims attack Spain. A foul?

Spain is part of a coalition which attacks Muslims (in Iraq). Muslims retaliate. Even though Spain has withdrawn.

You imply that Spain having withdrawn should make them immune to Muslim hostility. Forgive and forget. Is that correct? Did I miss the point of your post? How unfair it is that Muslims should target Spain because Spain withdrew?

Please apply that logic to the US and WTC. It would seem that since the SAUDIS who attacked it died in the attack that there would be no hostility. After all, dying would be even better than withdrawing. That since the attackers died, it would be unfair to attack Saudi Arabia, or Muslims.

And that's not even bringing up the fact that the US invaded Iraq, when it was Saudis who attacked the WTC. Maintained great relations with Saudi Arabia. Even though. We won't even mention the logic behind that. (We all know why the US invaded Iraq, anyway.)
