re: The Virginia Tech Tragedy
The VT tragedy had more to do with seeing the sighns from a disturbed student than anything else.
The student Cho Seung-Hui was responsible. Red flags rose A YEAR AGO from his English teacher. The authorities were called in when he set fire to his dorm room, yet, YET, they didn't put it on a record. If they had, he would not have been able to buy those firearms in the first place.
The second amendment applies to every U.S. citizen, but not to a green card person with a psychological record.
Virginia laws need to be amended, not the constitution's.
