You support having guns in your car, but not on your person. Are you telling me that you would leave a firearm unattended in your car? What if your car were stolen and the gun found and used in a crime? Some would want to hold you accountable for not having the gun properly put away.
As for gun ownership, I am a gun owner. I have 26 firearms in my collection. Everything from pump shotguns and lever action rifles to semi-automatic pistols and rifles. They've never been used in a criminal act, and won't be as long as I own them. Most of them are locked away, but a couple are out for home defense. My Glock 20 10mm is the primary gun for that purpose. It's loaded with a 15 round clip and is equipped with a laser sight. The laser sight is targeted dead on for anything under 20 yards. Where the dot's at is where the bullet will hit.
Asking me why I would want it is like asking a gearhead why they want a car that goes 0-60 in 5 seconds. I just do.
