Israel can take care of itself.
We provide support, but they do the fighting, and we would not intervene unless they were about to be overwhelmed in some heroic, last-stand scenario.
That was supposed to be the plan in Iraq, but for whatever reasons, the Iraqis could not defend themselves against a numerically smaller and lighter-armed and equipped force. They weren't just defeated, they didn't even fight.
As for the Turks, that's their neighborhood. NATO notwithstanding, after we go home, they have to deal with the mess we leave behind.
