General Petraeus is currently running our Iraqi policy. He has a background of success in other areas of Iraq, and almost every military source I know think he's the best man for the job.
That I am challenged to establish his credibility is, frankly, nuts. Credibility compared to who? Harry Reid??
Petraeus has tried to inform Democratic politicians on what's going on over there. They aren't interested.
I posted a detailed press conference here, with a lot of new information in it.
Apparently nobody gives a rat's ass. At best, I get a quote from a newspaper article on the conference. God forbid anyone read original material and use their own brains.
The idiots in the media picked the one sentence that "it might get harder before it gets easier," and ran out the door with it. The rest? Probably too many words for journalism school graduates.
If there could be any clearer evidence that this is about politics and Bush Derangement for a lot of people, I don't know what it could be.
