re: Finishing up an Iraq War documentary
I'm a co-owner. In this particular production my credits are camera and lighting for all the studio interviews we did with the veterans, although I have also done quite a bit of editing on this. My business partner has done 90% of the editing so she is credited as editor. We have been hired for this production by a combat history archive company.
The vets took thousands of photos and hundreds of hours of video footage during the year long deployment, and we edited that together with their interviews describing their experiences. So far the focus groups who have watched the pre-release versions have given very positive feedback.
