Soldiers in Baghdad are giving police powers and guns to former "insurgents."
>To the Americans, the fighters on both sides appeared nearly identical. They wore similar sweat suits and carried the same kind of machine guns. "Now we've got kind of a mess on our hands, because we've got a lot of armed guys running all over the place, and it's making it very hard for us to identify which side is which."
First there were NO INSURGENTS.....we created them.
Then we tried to kill them.
Now we're giving them more guns and fighting alongside WITH them, because you know.....there are newer, more virulent types of "insurgents".
This is completely ridiculous.
They are doing it with your tax dollars and your sons and daughters, and the only people making money from this mess are the oil guys, the reconstruction contract companies and the defense companies (war profiteers).
Time to get the hell <out.> You have to read this whole article to believe how far down the rabbit hole this whole thing has gone.
