I don't get Thompson's appeal.

Could any of the 21% who say they's vote for him know what they'd be voting for?

Or is he just less deeply flawed than the superficial Guiliani, the only-man-who-flops-more-than-Kerry Romney, or the I-used-to-be-a-maverick-before-I-lost-to-GWB panderer McCain?

This is a serious request to figure out what Thompson's about.
