Some operas aren't bad...
Went to see "Marriage of Figaro" (thanks to my wife) and had fun. Would have been more fun if I'd known Italian--you can see that the supertitles are missing a lot.
Am in total agreement on American Idol. For every great moment where someone is built up, like this clip, there are a dozen where some eager person is cruelly brought down, and that, to me, is as much fun as lemon juice on a rug burn. I can't understand people who like to see that sort of thing.
