Uh, no
The Milky Way galaxy is a spiral of some 400 billion stars 100,000 light
years across. Earth is 30,000 light years from its center.
The Andromeda galaxy, Messier 31, is 2.93 million light years from our
Milky Way, as determined by the Hipparcos satellite which did a whole
bunch of stellar parallax measurements.
Radio waves travel at the same speed as light, 186,000 miles each
second (670 million miles per hour), so the measurements listed above
are how long they would take to travel one way to the designated places.
