My point was not that Bush's behavior on spending is responsible for any reductions in the deficit (not debt, deficit). Obviously it isn't.

My point was that lower taxes do increase revenue and economic growth. This has been proven several times already. We wouldn't be having debt problems if Americans all across the board could keep their hands out of the till.
