If you want to discuss child abuse, I have no objection. It is an important topic that should be addressed. And something that should be stopped at every opportunity. The cycle goes on and the fact that no one solved it for Harry Potter will not in any way affect the lives of kids out there who suffer every day from abuse. I wish every one of them could be saved and the abusers all sterilized and herded together on an island where they could just abuse the hell out of each other.
But Harry Potter is still not about child abuse. It's just a fantasy story written by an English woman who was trying to make ends meet. Now she has more than she could possibly every use.
I might suggest that you write J.K. Rowling and ask her why she wrote it that no one solved the abuse for Harry. Straight from the author's mouth will give you more of an answer than any one here.
