Just because French companies who support insupportable things does it, that makes it OK for US companies to take MY tax money and feed their gluttonous executives? That kind of reasoning is deplorable. We hold ourselves and our corporations to higher standards. The fact that we rarely live up to that higher standard does not mean we throw away the standard. It means we hold companies like Halliburton to account for their misdeeds. At least I hope we hold them to account!
