My father died a very unhappy man because he felt he was a failure. A failure at being well off....
So....instead of doing the best he could, which is living by his own belief in himself, was to drown in his dinghy by refusing to mend the hole.
Where does it say it will be easy for anyone in life? Easy is perception. When all else fails, lower your expectation of the way you feel it should be...because feeling less than is emasculating and ovarianating. (my word.)
