Thanks for the reply Phil. I think we agree although I didn’t think so on earlier posts.
Of course Dyson is correct in saying that scientists get caught ‘drinking their own bathwater’ (don’t ask me how that homily came about but its something my Mormon mother told me) and start to believe their own models. That’s human nature but a scientist least likely to make that mistake.
The problem is that Dyson offers no method that could be put to work OTHER than models.
Winter clothes and swamps are not the answer.
Ps – I am reading the Black Swan (COSTCO has it on sale) and find it fascinating.
