"Marketplace" on NPR

I really like "The Sloan Sessions", also on NPR. Mr Sloan (I believe he is an analyst for the WSJ) has a refreshing and offbeat view of the world of finance, and a fine appreciation of how predictable and uninspired its practitioners really are. And he never insults your intelligence by lapsing into worshipful admiration and hushed tones of reverence when talking about them and their impenetrable profession. He manages to remind us every time he's on the air that only two mental states completely rule the market: greed and fear.

I hope he survives the impending reign of Rupert Murdoch.
