How ironic
That so many humans have stared up at the stars and wondered if
there is life out there, when in fact they are looking at the very life
of the galaxy itself.
Maybe this is why SETI hasn't worked so far: We've been searching
for intelligence around the stars instead of looking at the stars themselves.
Though trying to communicate with them could be another matter.
Yeah, I'm just speculating, but it's poetic.
