I'd be more impressed by the correction...
If it hadn't been like the third time they've done this, each time being widely corrected on it. At some point, we are either talking complicity or stupidity. A real correction would have left the photo up and explained the mistake.
I notice it's the same photographer each time. His other trademark seems to be Iraqi subjects "framed" in broken windows.
Oddly, the picture link still works. It's to Yahoo, too.
Once more, thank God for the Internet. I get the shudders thinking about how much crap we were exposed to for years before there was some mechanism to call out the mainstream media on this kind of thing.
