Patterns

As I explained before, as a standalone issue, this has little importance. As a documented and widespread pattern of media and photographer behavior, one that was particularly significant during the Lebanon war recently, it's something else. I documented all those examples a while ago, and there's no need to go over it again. That the flap generated back then by outright photomanipulation did little to change this behavior seems important to me. Apparently, not to too many others here.

The Beauchamp/National Review fraud, involving false stories on U.S. military atrocities, was much more significant, and frankly, I was surprised the subject never came up here.
