"I am just as qualified as Mssrs Robbins, Chopra and Peale to comment on the human condition."
Ah yes, and you have written some beautiful pieces about the sea, or life. You HAVE the vision.
But many don't, while you've lived a full life.
I think the film was aimed at the younger crowds, or for the thirty somethings that were dying on the vine in a bad relationship or job, and couldn't make changes in their lives because they forgot how to dream.
I think that some of you here found it a little too "Hollywood", as it was certainly produced that way. I found it entertaining and fast moving, maybe even a tad inspiring and as I watched it, I could see or hear my mother's programming underneath it all.
If anyone else got the "message", then the movie was worth it.
