Most openly gay men would never dream of soliciting sex from strangers in a public restroom. They're well adjusted emotionally and psychologically and comfortable with their sexual identity and don't engage in such offensive and unwelcome behaviour. Their idea of soliciting sex is to dress very well, go to a classy bar/nightclub, and politely ask another man for a dance or dinner. Just like the straight people.
There is however a darker, hidden subclass of gay men, those who desparately hide or repress their sexuality, denying the truth to others and even to themselves. They usually suffer great emotional and psychological damage, and ironically they're often the most vociferous critics of homosexuality. It's common to find these sick people among those obnoxious, loud-mouth hypocrites of the religious right. These are the true perverts.
