And just how long have we been able to record the sun?
A few thousand years?
For all we know, at the end of an eleven thousand year cycle - the sun puts on a show and then stabilizes after a month, week...or some other period of time.
Perhaps there's a very good reason human history only goes back 10,000 years...
Maybe 200 years from now, the cycle will have completed again. We simply don't know. The only thing we have in plentiful quantity down here is ignorance of the solar function.
Then perhaps the whole cycle starts over again and the remains of crispy-fried original recipe DNA spark a whole new life cycle. Maybe in 15,000 years something akin to humanity reappears with a lizard roots or bird roots...or?
That's why technology and the ability to travel outside our solar system should be the focus for humanity's survival - not some retarded fixation on the fractional changes in Earth's atmospheric composition.
