I have used a wireless network for over a year now and never had any problems until now. As of 2 days ago, if I enable WEP, my computer can connect in name only. I can't get a internet or even a successful ping off the router, network printer or my wife's computer which is hardwired into the router. When I disable WEP I have no problems connecting to any of the above. I have tried using a new passkey and that doesn't fix it. The signal strength is great like its always been and nothing has changed between my comuter and the router.

Before I narrowed it down to the WEP I was thinking it was a windows update thatmessed everything up, so I uninstalled the update, and it worked again. once. Then it was back to its screwy behavior.

My next step is to contact Linksys, but has anybody seen any behavior like this before?
