I put the model over the satellite photo, rotated it into position and changed the scale.

The motion in this sense would be the right side moving down relative to the left side. I'd draw arrows, but I already uploaded the image.

What's fun is that this the same sort of relationship I am dealing with in my exploration work, only with the opposite sense of motion.
