The subject was the capital of the country, a country which has been occupied by American troops for over 4 years. As Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice said, she "owns" Iraq. And Baghdad is the capital.

And without mercenary troops Americans are not able to leave a very small, heavily defended area in Baghdad.

And some people are saying that it's the other guy who is on the defensive, the other guy who is having problems, the other guy who is "losing".

There is absolutely nothing but dogma and ideology in those people. If they want to believe something, facts will not get in the way.
