Just for the record, no relation of mine.
Apropos nothing except the subject of evolution, thought of a new argument to use on Creationists.
Me: "Ever seen a cat do a monkey impression?"
Creationist: "Why, no."
Me: "Me neither. Nor a dog nor a horse nor an elephant nor a whale nor a fish nor an insect nor a plant. Seems like humans are the only people on the planet who can do a good impression of a monkey. Why is that, do you suppose?"
C: "Uhhh...."
M: "I mean, cats have tails and humans don't, so shouldn't cats be able to mimic monkeys, many of whom have tails, more accurately than humans?"
C: "Uhhh...."
M: "Not to mention the fur, which humans lack."
C: "Uhhh...."
And so on and so forth. Not that it'll make a dent in Creationist certainty, but I'll enjoy having something new to say.
