If the alleged Iranian bomb is not going to be an issue for another 5 years, then if and when it materializes will not affect this administration and probably not the next. The White House would have nothing to gain and everything to lose by conducting such a dangerous action now. The instinct would be to let it slide and let some future president worry about it.

A raid on Iranian nuclear facilities would open up a huge can of worms, and there is still no guarantee it would fulfill its objectives. Surely, you don't think this administration would conduct such a risky action unless it could derive some immediate benefit from it.
