My first thought is...they're just "Americans".
My country right or wrong.

And they ARE just short-sighted, cold, callous and cruel. Or they're hiding behind the right wing Christian certainty that "we" must be right and "they" (Middle Easterners) must be wrong. They must be sub-human, believing in the Koran and offering their prayers to Mohammed 5 times a day.

The rest just don't want to THINK. They like somebody else to do all the "thinking". (That's why they voted for them in the first place.) They don't read newspapers and they're barely conscious as the news rolls out at 6pm. As long as they have their weekend games to look forward to and a Budweiser in hand, they don't have the IQ to think for themselves or sift through what is right or wrong, or real or made up.

Frankly my dear, THEY JUST DON'T GIVE A DAMN.
