Don't bother.
These folks are going to believe what they want to believe. It has nothing to do with reality, facts, or what happened.
One of them, for instance, believes in free enterprise, capitalism, and defends the ability of drug companies to overcharge the Federal government. Irrational as all hell. But they insist.
Some believe the Federal government is trying to take away their hunting rifles. Nothing could convince them otherwise. A very strong belief with no basis in fact. Nuts.
This kind of person throws money to Trinity Broadcasting Network, Benny Hinn and the NRA.
Since logic has no place in the formulation of their beliefs, logic won't get them to change.
