Energya Buran, the Soviet Space Shuttle

This book is about how the soviet shuttle became a fact. I remember being quite surprised how much it looked like the US shuttles...at first glance. I also remember talking about it with Baudry in 1986...he simply had no idea it existed.

One of the authors is my friend Bart Hendrickx (we share the same passion for space and live in the same town and in 1998, his great knowledge of the russian language helped us translating our questions to Leonov and Budarin).
