Shuttle was to be SPACE TRUCK

Always wondered why the shuttle flew from '85-96 with no real mission then the ISS assembly missions came along and it fullfilled it's purpose.
Shuttle was designed to do too many things at different times at low costs, but that backfired and became a cash cow money pit for NASA>
