Norton antivirus works fine for me. The secret with Norton is not to try to get it to do too much on your system.

Norton handles my virus stuff, Ad-Aware handles my adware issues, and I've got ZoneAlarm doing the firewall stuff. A hardware firewall in the router works better. I'm looking into replacing my old AirPort with something newer, but I'm worried about compatibility.
