"Are we about done on the Nobel Prize issue, now?"
No, I think we were done when Arafat won the prize.
Btw,
"This increased certainty of a net positive radiative
forcing fits well with the observational evidence
of warming discussed next. These forcings can be visualized as a tug-of-war, with positive forcings pulling the earth to a warmer climate and negative ones pulling it to a cooler state. The result is a no contest; we know the strength of the competitors better than ever before. The earth is being pulled to a warmer climate and will be pulled increasingly in this direction as the “anchorman” of greenhouse warming continues to grow stronger and stronger."

Does this mean we shouldn't need to worry for at least next 100 years, that we won't enter another Little Ice Age? I wish I could believe them, it would be comforting if this was actually true.
These idiots like to frame the debate over whether humans have made any measurable affect upon global climate- and the assumption is if this true, than humans should stop doing whatever they are doing which is having any kind of affect.
I would have tendency if human were cooling the planet by some small and measurable degree, to be more concerned.
And regardless of what Gore does or anyone does, human will most likely change what they doing when one talking periods of time 50 or 100 year into the future [people might notice we lack, for most part, coal driven trains or boats and horses aren't used in transportation that much. Whale oil isn't a commonly available product. Gas lights aren't practical. And in last few decade tens of millions of people are using computers everyday. Etc.].
The article bit on sea level rise, is interesting. I like it when they talk about increased accuracy and same time have a error bar which about 30% +/-.
Sea levels have been rising for thousands of years, and currently we aren't certain whether rising sea levels are rising at any faster rate than during the last thousand years or last hundred years. If sea level were to rise 2 feet over the next 100 year, this would higher than current IPCC report prediction, and it would be higher than sea levels have risen in last hundred years, though probably less than at some time in last 5000 year over some other 100 year period, and would less than a typical period lasting 200 years. In other words it's already proven, that rising sea levels over the past thousands of years has had little impact upon humans or other living creatures on this earth, and if sea levels were to rise 2' feet in next 100 year this also would have no significant effect to the people or creatures during this time.
Though if this were to happen, it *would be* significant in terms predicting what could happen in the future, e.g., if we get a significant and measurable increase [the 2' in next century], then that could be suggestive that an even further increase is a possibility in 200 or 300 years from now.
In summary the actual threat of climate change due to any human activity for next 100 year is non-existent. Global warming has not killed any human nor any creature, nor has it "decreased their quality of life" nor will it over the next 100 years.
The climate will change whether planet is warming or cooling, the climate can not and does remain unchanged, though it's more likely that during warming periods the climate generally is more stable than compared to cooler periods.
And meanwhile, in areas in which most live, we have Urban Heat Island effect. This affect which very easily measurable, and indisputable and obvious and is a far greater effect than "global warming", is being ignored- and being ignored mainly because it seen as a *distraction* to the ideological driven hysteria over "Global Warming".
